The project of development and mining governance in front of the price of raw material
The analysis of the governance of mining commodities today, based on sector studies and the various reports of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI), shows at several levels of responsibility the Need for reform and rationalization of the various actors involved in the sector. The fact remains that a significant portion of the players in the sector, such as the mining market decision-makers in Canada and Australia, have not yet finished their final words.
In reality, although at the present stage the difficulties related to the sector's contribution to the national economy are almost universally known to be local, there is also a good deal of responsibility, Equity in the price of raw materials.
In the long term, the PDGM and the EITI reports must also be able to address this reality and take important actions.
Reducing the beneficial mass of economic operators in the extractive industries can reduce the uncontrolled exploitation of mines and guarantee sustainable development.
